The popular supermarket chain Mercadona has launched a hair care item for €1.65 that has captured the imagination of social media users. Supermarket hair dyes gained traction during the first lockdown with many people unable to visit the salon. To capitalise on the public’s willingness to DIY colour, Mercadona has released a new hair care product that has already caught the attention of many on social networks.
The product is called “Colorcor Reviva”, an express colour mask that, according to claims, illuminates and revitalizes hair colour. The Deliplus branded product is made with a formula enriched with chia oil to provide “nutrition, softness and shine”; and it is sold in 60ml sachets for a price of €1.65.
The colour mask is available in shades of chocolate, copper, violin, honey blonde and black. The product is applied after washing hair and left to work for between three and five minutes depending on the desired intensity. Afterwards, it should be rinsed with plenty of water.
Mercadona’s own brand beauty products are making quite a stir across the country. It recently launched a new anti-wrinkle serum which is flying off the shelves at a rate of 3000 units a day! The miracle cream “Regen Skin Retinol Enhancer”, produced by the RNB cosmetics manufacturer in La Pobla de Vallbona (Valencia), claims to offer “greater firmness, hydration, elasticity and unification of the skin tone”, as well as an improvement in the texture and appearance of wrinkles and blemishes.
Another Mercadona product that also sells more than 3,000 units a day is the Deliplus green clay mask. The popular at home beauty treatment has been on sale for a number of months at Mercadona and has proved incredibly popular among users with oily or acne prone skin.
The mask’s combination of active ingredients, together with zinc-PCA and green clay, claim to balance excess oil on the skin of the face and minimize the appearance of blackheads, leaving “a matte and renewed skin.”
