Orihuela opens golf courses

The Orihuela City Council has reported that four of the five golf courses in Orihuela have opened their facilities within the “Phase 1” framework.
The agreement reached between the Secretary of State for Tourism and the different Autonomous Communities has resulted in a coordinated single health protocol in response Covid-19. Part of the agreement calls for golf courses to have the required protection measures in place as recommended by the health authorities in order to prevent the spread of the virus (masks, gloves, protective glasses or face masks) and to limit the capacity on the course through spaced t-off times. Measures have also been taken to minimise the contact golfers have with the flags, holes and bunker rakes.
The golf courses that have been open since last Monday are: Real Club de Golf Campoamor, Villamartín, Las Colinas, Vistabella.
