
Alicante-Elche Airport is calling for more police officers in order to reduce queues and the number of missed flights for UK tourists who now have to get their passport stamped.
The Union claims that the number of officers at the airport, which acts as the gate-way to the Costa Blanca, has not increased in line with the growing number of passengers.
Representatives are concerned that a return to pre-pandemic travel levels this summer will result in serious delays for British travellers if the issue isn’t resolved.
