Last week saw local ladies gather – as much as social distancing would allow – for the much anticipated fashion show to launch Looking Good Boutique’s Summer Collection. The event was hosted at Brown’s Cocktail Bar by boutique owner Louise Brandley and featured outfits by Canadian designers Joseph Ribkoff and Frank Lyman.
These designers are both globally renowned for their elegance and style aimed at ladies of all ages and the outfits were very well received by the audience. From classic navy, to playful colours the fashion show, co-ordinated by boutique manager Jane, featured dresses to tailored trousers and tunics and tops to embellished jeans. Many outfits were heavily discounted and the ladies were keen to snap up the bargains next door in the boutique. Luckily there are still great discounts in store and the full summer collections are on display right now.
Looking Good Boutique opened its doors in 2002 and has built an excellent reputation for high quality, designer clothing ranging from Fantasie and Freya lingerie to evening gowns; with everything in between.
Hot on the heels of the Looking Good Boutique ‘Slim Pickings Sale’ on sizes 8,10 and 12 clothing, held last week, there will be more sales throughout the summer with amazing discounts of up to 70 percent. So this is a boutique that requires weekly visits to get the best designer steals. All of the clothes in any Looking Good sale are genuine stock items that have been selling at full price in the boutique. The autumn collections are already being planned and should be arriving throughout August.

Cocktail Party Invitation
Following the success of the fashion show and to give us all an excuse to dust off our glad rags and dress-up-to-the-nines; Looking Good Boutique is hosting a Cocktail Party and lunch event at Brown Cocktail Bar on Wednesday 12th August at 12 noon. The event will include a special Menu del Dia at 20 euros to give guests the chance to sample the outstanding cuisine, whilst relaxing and enjoying the sumptuous surroundings.
La Zenia Loyalty Card
In light of the current pandemic and the resulting difficult financial climate, the businesses at La Zenia are joining forces to encourage people to shop local. The campaign, called #supportlocalbusiness# aims to get you to support local companies that have never needed your support more!
The participating businesses are: Looking Good Boutique, Brown’s Cocktail Bar, Alejandros, Head to Toe Beauty Salon, Tiger Feet, La Ponderosa and Hombre Barbers. Customers will be given a loyalty card with their initial purchase and each business will offer its own loyalty reward to the card holder. Each card is valid for 14 days and can be used in multiple venues during the two week period. Once the card has expired another can be gained by making another purchase.
